SpherePlay Day is an opportunity to meet, learn, share and play with other sphereplayers and manipulation artists in a really relaxed, creative and playful way. So take the day off, call in sick, extend the summer a bit and come join us for a day (or more) of play.
With ongoing Playshops all day, group sphere games, and the famous RAFFLE it will be a relaxing, enjoyable and well deserved Play Day for all ages! Spheres, poi, diabolo, contact staff, sticks, and the ZeNowBe (huh??) are some of the toys we'll learn.
While we will have some lite snacks, it is a "bring your own everything event". Pack a lunch or we will have a group buy in from a local restaurant.
Sadly, Tarrywile Park, our home of four years, couldn't host us this year due to construction. So we decided to go back to our roots and keep it simple with a one day event at a different park in Danbury. Afterwards we will have a fire and campout back at Tarrywile Park (in a different area from the construction). Camping is free, tents only please!

Spherecamp is a group directed experience. Contribute what you can and learn from others. Beginners, experts and anyone in between will leave with new experiences, new skills and new friends. TryOut Toys will provide spheres and other toys for playshops, so you can play even if you have no toys of your own. We hope you will join the fun as we endeavor to "think less" and "play more"! |
